Senior Consultant ESG

We are looking for a senior consultant focused on ESG projects. The ESG Senior Consultant is a client-facing role focusing on creating ESG strategies and consultancy.

Responsibilities:

• Advising clients on their ESG data, process consultancy in the implementation of ESG principles and compiling ESG strategies;
• Supporting audit teams with comprehensive ESG reporting, creation of non-financial reporting
• Consulting in the field of reporting according to the EU taxonomy and other legal framework such as CSRD, ESRS – analysis and implementation of regulations in practice;
• Facilitate discussions with the client to elaborate on the areas of proposed improvements within ESG;
• Coordinate work with technical consultants – in case needed;
• Project Management – Lead and regularly maintain meetings with the clients, meeting minutes preparation and coordinate actions items;
• GAP and sector analyses;
• Preparation of data, calculations or presentations and other outputs on client projects;
• Advising clients on their ESG data, process consultancy in the implementation of ESG principles and compiling ESG strategies;
• Leading a team of RSM consultants in ESG projects and supporting the management of requiring of new clients.

Required skills and abilities:

• University Degree, at minimum bachelor’s degree (Finance, Business Administration, Technical degree, Sustainability Management / ESG, or related field)
• 2+ years of experience within a multinational or local company (ESG/Sustainability background strongly preferred)
• Strong knowledge of CSRD, EU Taxonomy, ESRS and other relevant legal standards
• Experience with creating non-financial reporting and ESG consulting projects – creating of ESG strategy, carbon footprint calculation (e.g., according to TCFD, GRI, GHG)
• More advanced knowledge of MS Excel and other tools such as Power BI is an advantage.
• Sector understanding and different requirements for ESG reporting
• Experience of ESG due diligence is an advantage
• Basics of Project Management
• Czech/Slovak, English – daily communication (written and oral) with clients
• Strong communication & presentation skills – be able to lead discussions/communication with clients in different culture diversity
