The industrial property market in the Czech Republic is in good shape. In Q1 2016, the market continued to show an increased demand mainly from e-commerce, retail and manufacturing companies. Roughly 323 thousand square metres of warehouse and manufacturing premises are currently being built. From the perspective of new development, regions of greater interest include border areas in western and northern Bohemia. Given the decreasing vacancy rate on warehousing premises in industrial facilities, speculative development is on the rise. This tendency is increasing again after a long pause.
As part of our new partnership, we have taken over the facility management of HOYA a.s. which is currently provided to clients as a comprehensive, turnkey service. We provide all operation solutions and building systems. In addition, we offer servicing, maintenance, inspections and controlling. We also deal with complaints, warranty terms and insured events. We record and prepare all technical documentation. For HOYA, we currently manage properties with an area of approximately 30 thousand square metres of storage premises, worth CZK 1 billion.
Our facility management services ensure that HOYA is able to fully focus on new development opportunities in the expanding industrial property market.
