We would like to inform you that on 24 August 2020, the government approved the extension of the Antivirus programme modes A and B until 31 October 2020. Antivirus, a targeted programme to support employment, has been in force since March 2020.

Mode A

Compensates employers who had to put their workers in quarantine or partially or completely shut down their operations due to government regulations. The maximum amount of compensation is CZK 39,000 per employee per month.

Mode B

Compensates the costs employers incurred as a result of economic difficulties, for example when the demand for services or products decreases (employees receive wage compensation of 60% of their earnings) or when the availability of inputs (raw materials, products, services) necessary for the activity is reduced (employees receive wage compensation of 80% of their average earnings). The maximum amount of compensation is CZK 29,000 per employee per month.

Mode C

Was not extended, which, if the given conditions are met, forgave companies with up to 50 employees social security contributions for the months of June, July and August 2020.
