Project

The company HOYA, uzavřený investiční fond, a.s. (the “HOYA Fund”) has successfully executed the acquisition of land and entered into contracts on building the biggest transhipment point for parcels in the Czech Republic, with PPL CZ s.r.o., a member of DHL Group, being the tenant (the “PPL”). The investment reached  CZK 300M. The Hoya Fund is not new to real estate projects. It operates a logistics park in Hradec Králové which was built for approx. CZK 200M. This year the Hoya Fund is planning further acquisitions of  land dedicated to logistic parks, totalling  CZK 130M. The HOYA Fund intends to administer and operate assets of at least CZK 630M in future years. RSM CZ participated in the acquisition process as an exclusive consultant to the HOYA Fund, organizing and managing the entire transaction.

Client satisfaction

Ing. Stanislav Palas, a member of the HOYA Fund’s board, commented on  co-operation with RSM CZ: “So far I have been satisfied with the process of acquisition and I especially appreciate the way RSM CZ has  managed and ensured the project’s success. We have worked with the consultants from RSM CZ before, namely on a project building a logistics centre in Hradec Králové. We highly appreciate their professional approach; therefore we have decided to continue our co-operation on other projects performed by the HOYA Fund.”

How we helped

Mark Rosenbaum:  “We helped to negotiate favorable terms of a real estate project and succeed in international competition. New central hub, which is unique in its scope, empower PPL as the market leader in express transportation. The total investment, including technology, is expected to reach 24.7 million EUR, and the object will have a total area of more than 50,000 square meters. We are pleased that we have managed to succeed in this project and prepare the logistics next transaction. ”
