About Karel
Karel has been in the IT field for a respectable 37 years and he never stops enjoying it. On the contrary, technology is not only his job, but also a great hobby. At RSM, he leads teams that manage cloud solutions for clients in RSM’s own data center, provide IT end-user support, and create and manage network solutions.
Experience
Karel started his career at PVT, where he started as an operator and over the years has held various managerial positions. He joined RSM in 2002 as a Helpdesk Team Manager and eventually became the Head of the Private Hosting Services Team. Since 2008, he has been leading RSM’s Cloud Services department. He has been involved in a number of important IT projects for clients such as Kaufland CZ & SK and Albert, as well as cloud solutions for companies such as Accace, Fly United, and also for RSM CZ and SK. Among the great achievements of RSM is currently providing 1st level support services – Helpdesk for multinational companies Creditinfo Solutions and Weber. Since 2019, he is also in charge of the Networking Solutions division. He has been writing professional articles for IT industry media for a long time, where he shares his many years of experience and detailed knowledge of the industry. What he likes most about his job is the constant development and learning about new IT solutions, communicating with customers and also the quality team of professionals he has around him. In his spare time, he enjoys playing tennis or badminton, keeping up to date with modern technology, reading historical literature and his great hobby is pub knowledge quizzes.
